Samba has been compiled for Slackware to put the executables into
/usr/lib/samba, and the config file and log into /var/lib/samba. It's not
enabled by default, so make sure you read the docs about editing your
/etc/hosts, /etc/inetd.conf and/or your /etc/rc.d/rc.local. It's 
not too hard to get it running.
