TCGAbiolinks is able to access The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Genomic Data Commons (GDC) thorough its
[GDC Application Programming Interface (API)](https://gdc.cancer.gov/developers/gdc-application-programming-interface-api)
to search, download and prepare relevant data for analysis in R.
