Please read this file before trying to install RMAGEML.
RMAGEML needs a Java VM.

Running RMAGEML on Linux

 Download and install Java standard Edition, J2SE from SUN:  http://java.sun.com/j2se

 IMPORTANT NOTE: 

 Don't forget to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable before starting R.

 The LD_LIBRARY_PATH should be set as such that it includes the libjvm.so and libjava.so.
 A possible location for this libraries is:

  /your/path/to/jdk1.5.0_04/jre/lib/i386/
  
  and 

  /your/path/to/jdk1.5.0_04/jre/lib/i386/server/

Running RMAGEML on Windows

 Download and install Java Standard Edition, J2SE from SUN:  http://java.sun.com/j2se

 Set the JAVA_HOME variable to point to j2re.1.4.0 so this should be something like D:\Program Files\Java\j2re.1.4.0
 You can set this environment variable by going to Settings, Control panel, select System, and then Advanced
 There you'll be able to add Environment variables.  After adding JAVA_HOME you might need to restart your system.

 After you've done this you can install RMAGEML and run it.
