3GPP TS 33.108 DraftVon: Ron Ryan [rryan@NORTELNETWORKS.COM] Gesendet: Freitag, 7. September 2001 19:43 An: 3GPP_TSG_SA_WG3_LI@LIST.ETSI.FR Betreff: 3GPP TS 33.108 Draft SA3-LI participants: Please find attached two documents: 1) 3GPP TS 33.108 V0.0.3 (2001-09) Revised specification based on August 2001 Saarbrucken meeting. 2) 3GPP TS 33.108 V0.1.0 (2001-10) Draft specification S3LI01-111 for October 2001 Aspen meeting. <<3GPP TS 33.108.zip>> As noted in the draft of S3LI01-111, Version 0.1.0 has been developed from Version 0.0.3. Version 0.0.3 includes revision marks for the agreed changes. Version 0.1.0 incorporates those changes and restructures the document per discussion in Saarbrucken. The plan is to submit only the cleaned Version 0.1.0 to Aspen since it will be much easier to write contributions against a version without the revision marks. As noted on the document, S3LI01-111 is in draft form. 1) Please review the documents to insure I have captured the changes correctly. 2) Please provide any comments by Friday, September 14, 2001. The plan is to incorporate any changes I have missed and produce a final version for Aspen by Friday, September 21, 2001. Note: I have not incorporated the comment "-- not used in 3GPP Packet Domain" into the deleted text. We need to revisit this approach. Having looked at this approach and considered future enhancements in both ETSI and 3GPP and the issue of some ETSI enhancements not be incorporated into the 3GPP specification, I find this approach unworkable, unmaintainable, and not necessary for maintaining alignment. We need to go in another direction and use references and comments and not replicating text. Can discuss more fully in Aspen. Cheers, Ron
